Hi, I'm the creator of Spectranext. I'm a fan of the ZX Spectrum, a game developer, and a network engineer living in Poland. I started this project because I love retro computers and wanted to connect my Spectrum to the modern world.
At first, this was just my own experiment to make new hardware work with old computers and the internet. Over time, it grew into a full project, including both hardware and software. I've built everything myself, from designing the circuit board to writing the firmware, while always trying to stay true to the spirit of the original Spectrum.
Doing all of this alone has been both exciting and tough. I've had to learn a lot about electronics, manufacturing, and programming. But along the way, I've enjoyed the whole process and hope this project is useful and fun for other Spectrum fans too.
